Frequently Asked Questions
- Why Carey Road? All of the other firms say they do the same thing and I don’t want to pay a lot of money for “one size fits all” answers.
- I’ve never heard of Carey Road Marketing. Why shouldn’t I look for a “known” name?
- What differentiates you from all the other marketing consulting companies?
- Do you have the resources to implement the strategies and tactics you recommend?
- Do you focus on large companies or small?
- What specific industries do you target?
- I don’t need a long term marketing firm. I just need somebody to get me “over the hump” and going in the right direction.
- What if I just need a one-time project completed?
From the very beginning of our relationship you will find that the Carey Road process is where we immediately differ from the “others”
- Once you’ve contacted us we’ll set up a brief conversation on the phone just to get acquainted
- If we jointly agree to proceed further, we’ll set up a face-to-face for an hour or two.
- At that first meeting we do something really radical in this industry; we ask you questions about your business and we listen.
- We will ask questions such as…
- Why do you feel you need Carey Road? To kick start your business? Fix something? Develop a growth plan? Manage a specific campaign?
- Do you have a business plan? A Strategy? Goals?
- What is the background of your company? How did you start? Where are you going?
- What are the details of your product/service? Who is your customer?
- What marketing have you done? What worked? What didn’t? What is your marketing budget?
- We then answer your questions. Who we are, our experience, our high level thoughts on your business and anything else you have on your mind. At the end of the initial meeting we will jointly decide if a written proposal from Carey Road is something of interest to both of us.

Cost to you at this point…$0. Well, maybe a cup of coffee.
We are very well known and respected by our clients. Our business has grown rapidly by using a very simple business strategy…do a great job for our current partners and they will refer us to other potential partners. Would you rather trust your marketing dollars, and future, to a company that’s “known” because they invest heavily in advertising or to a company like Carey Road who became “known” for the quality of work they did?
- We will provide you with customer solutions based upon your needs, not a template used for all our clients. This can provide you with differentiated ways to run your business.
- We've been in your shoes. Our experience is on the client-side, so we know what it is to have key metrics driving our success.
- Because our overhead is low, our pricing is very competitive.
Yes. All strategies, plans and general business coaching are done in house. Other services that require special skills including Web Design, PR, Database Optimization and Graphic Design are often managed by us through one of our virtual network partners.
Our clients include family businesses of 1-2 people and nationally known companies with billions in revenue. It also should be noted that we provide marketing support and leadership to businesses in all phases of their evolution including;
- New business launches
- Established firms seeking increased revenues and/or ROI
- Companies in “desperation” or “survival” modes
Our client list includes both B-to-B and B-to-C companies in such diverse industries as financial services, retail (both online and brick & mortar), construction, transportation, communications and even other marketing firms. It’s often better to partner within industries where you don’t have pre-conceived ideas and can assess opportunities with a “fresh” or “untainted” eye.
No problem. Together we’ll review your needs, develop project plans and timelines to achieve your realistic goals, and then when the job is done we will part company as friends.
That is one of the great values that Carey Road Marketing brings to the table. As an outside resource, we can review your needs and set up a project plan that will meet your needs.
